Description:    Highly pure metal-free apoprotein from rabbit liver [1]. It is identical to one of the apoproteins in MT-II preparation from Sigma [2].

Solubility:   A suitable buffer that protects MT from oxidation.

Storage:     Freezer (-20° C). Protect from moisture. In solution at neutral pH and in the presence of oxygen metallothionein is sensitive to oxidation and solutions should not be stored.
